Job Title: Artist Access Assistant

Location: National travel required. Primary locations include Birmingham, London and

Manchester.

Fee: £125 p/day x 45 days between July - end of November. To be paid in 4 instalments of £1406.25.

Expenses: All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered. A Per Diem will be provided for any overnight stays. All must be pre agreed with the Producer, and expenses and invoices must be processed alongside the company’s policies.

Time Commitment: 45 days - as per project key dates

Start Date: July 2022 - to be agreed

About the Role

The Artist Access Assistant will support the Lead Artist, Demi Nandhra, on a flexible and ongoing basis. You will work closely with Demi on a new project, gaining insight into their access requirements, and insight into the process of developing a new piece work called “The Trauma Show.” You will support Demi through research and development, delivery of public events, rehearsals and touring, liaising with venues. You will work with the team to ensure Demi’s access and artistic needs are met.

We do not expect you to have formal qualifications and training, but you should be comfortable and have some knowledge of Neurodiversity and Mental Health. You will be required to travel nationally in a pastoral and supportive role, and will work with care and access needs as one of your core purposes.
